Getting Healthy

13:58

So you are probably wondering what happened to my healthy eating plan, well it sort of went out of the window. However the past couple of weeks I have been eating better, maybe not always the healthiest but majority of the food I’ve eaten has been homemade by myself. Which to me is important to getting a healthier lifestyle, making food from scratch and knowing exactly what I’m eating is definitely more satisfying and has in general made me feel healthier. I’m trying to get more fruit and veg into my diet, especially fruit as that tends to be something I can forget about in a busy day.

Over the next couple of weeks I’m hopefully going to share a lot more recipes that you can try out yourself at home. Something I’ll definitely be sharing is my homemade wedges, which were amazing, and very easy to do and a lot tastier than those premade ones!

What I wanted to share with you today was a milkshake recipe, which I given the recipe from the lovely Hannah over at http://broonylou.blogspot.co.uk/, she has a really lovely blog and I recommend you checking her posts out and subscribing to see her future posts too!

Ingredients:
Strawberry Slimfast --- 1 – 1/2 scoops
Semi-Skimmed Milk
Ice
Frozen Raspberries --- I used about 9-10
Just throw it all in a blender and mix it up! Just add enough milk to your personal taste/consistency, same with the raspberries. I used around 10 as it was about a handful so it meant I could count this towards my 5-a-day !
I recommend you trying this out and it’ll no doubt become a morning favourite for me or after a workout! (Workouts I do at home, or will be doing at home from Monday onwards!)
